Frequently asked questions
Is there a guide?
No. These routes are self-guided. You ride on your own with the GPX, the plan and the town notes. The pack lists bike shops and train stations along the way, and 112 is the emergency number across Spain.
Can I bring my own bike?
Yes. The route pack is all you need. The rental and hotel booking services are optional.
Can I take my bike on the train home?
Catalan trains accept complete bikes under conditions that depend on the type of train and the space available. Each route page explains what we found, and you should check before you travel. See our guide to bikes on trains in Catalonia.
Do you carry my luggage?
Not at the moment. Pack light and ride with bags on the bike. We may add luggage transfer later.
How hard are the routes?
Each route shows a difficulty level, the daily distance and the daily climbing. Distances and climbing are planning estimates until we finish riding and checking every track.
Why is the route pack so cheap?
We love Catalonia and want to keep our margin as small as we can. Each route is built once and many groups can use it. Our fees cover the work of preparing routes and handling bookings, and we charge a booking fee only when you ask us to book something for you.
Will there be routes from other cities?
Yes. We plan to add more starting points after Barcelona.
